台北西門町開業超過60年的川菜館「黔園川菜」，是許多台北人從小吃到大的老店，沒想到雙十連假過後，官方臉書突然宣布老闆決定退休，現店址可能頂讓或出租，消息一出讓許多老饕相當不捨。

「黔園川菜」先前因三級警戒暫停營業，老饕時不時在臉書關注何時復業，沒想到前陣子有人發現餐廳門口掛上出租告示，趕緊在臉書詢問營業狀況，而官方臉書也在10月11日發文表示，「不好意思讓一直等待黔園的顧客要失望了，經過種種因素與考量，老闆決定退休了。短時間未計劃重新開業，所以本餐廳考慮頂讓/出租。真的很感謝大家長期以來的支持與照顧，願祝各位健康、平安！Stay safe and healthy！」

餐廳歇業消息曝光，讓許多老饕不捨表示「好不容易疫情趨緩，滿心期待要去吃」、「吃了30多年，從我老爸帶我去到現在我40歲了，我一直認為是北部最好吃的川菜，現在沒了」、「可惜了！整條川菜街，我最喜歡吃你們這一家」、「真的找不到好吃的川菜館了 我現在要吃的京醬肉絲、豆酥鱈魚、宮保雞丁、蝦仁滑蛋，都找不到這樣好味道」。

也有不少老顧客回憶，「70年代西門町川菜巷吃飯的首選，懷念矮房子排隊的感覺，幾坪大的空間，小小的圓桌擠一堆好友一起吃飯，便條紙上寫著我看不懂的菜名，點太多菜還會被外場阿伯罵浪費，時間過得真快，永遠站在門口笑容迎客的老闆也要退休了，好像才幾天前的日子，謝謝老闆給我的年輕回憶」、「在西門町工作的時期中午總是和同事一起吃黔園，下班跟朋友看電影前後也是吃黔園，週末招待長輩吃飯也約黔園。黔園的菜永遠那麼好吃，在店裡邊吃邊聊天永遠那麼輕鬆愉快」。
