【記者李祖東/高雄報導】國立高雄科技大學與國立科學工藝博物館簽署合作備忘錄，雙方除了促進教學與科學領域的交流合作外，未來高科大校內實驗室、研究室退役的儀器與設備，將篩選合適物件成為科工館的收藏品。特別是科工館展出定位，即為展示科技的發展以及科技對人類社會的影響，加上高科大是南部重要的產業教育重鎮，同時也蘊藏豐富的研究能量，因此高科大所保留的產業機具、實驗設備等，都將成為展示科學發展脈絡的重要資產。

高科大校長楊慶煜表示，透過(認識早期的)機具設備可幫助同學了解到其所學對人類進步的貢獻，對工程技術的理解也會有很好的啟發。他指出，藉由科工館的社會教育使命加以擴散，相信也更能幫助大眾更加認識科技發展的軌跡，因此科工館收藏機具設備的動機他非常認同也立刻響應。

科工館館長陳訓祥表示，很高興能跟全國最大的技職院校龍頭合作，未來與高科大會進行全面性地的交流，科工館的建館使命之一是蒐藏，大學實驗室、研究室有很多寶貴的研究儀器、設備或老師為了驗證實驗構想所發明的機具，「那就是工藝」，他希望科工館能將台灣學術界發展的過程蒐集起來，經過50年、100年、200年，將成為珍貴的歷史古物，因此今天的簽約是一個重要的起點，具歷史性的日子，「我特別開心」。

「十全十美：科工館與十校策略聯盟簽約典禮」24日上午在科工館一樓簡報室舉行，科工館除了和高科大校長楊慶煜簽署合作意向書外，也和高雄市八所偏鄉中小學策略聯盟代表、帝伊幼兒園簽署合作備忘錄，將科普教育向下紮根到幼童身上。楊校長現場也加碼表示，資源的分享不僅限於高科大實驗室內的機具設備，不少校內堪用的電腦設備在汰換後，高科大也很樂意整理好轉贈高雄的偏鄉學校，善盡大學社會責任，協助彌平城鄉數位落差。

高科大自107年2月1日併校成立之後，就以活化科技人的美學、人文素養為目標，秉持「以人為本，價值共創」理念，培育具備科技、產經，與人文創意的整合型新興人才。陳訓祥期望透過與高科大合作，為彼此加分，並為對方想像如何加分，用這樣的定位和立場共創教育、文化與藝術人才培養的價值。
