新加坡歌手蔡健雅新專輯《DEPART》將擅長的情歌改為對地球歌唱，因疫情僅用一把木吉他在家錄音，用最純粹的音符叩關第4座金曲歌后。

蔡健雅2006年首度以《雙棲動物》摘下她的第一座金曲歌后，之後2008年以《Goodbye & Hello》、2012年《說到愛》再封后，與天后張惠妹都是金曲歌后最多紀錄保持人。

今年蔡健雅再以《DEPART》入圍金曲獎8個獎項，包含年度專輯、最佳華語專輯、最佳華語女歌手、最佳專輯製作人、最佳作曲人、最佳作詞人、最佳演唱錄音專輯獎、〈Bluebirds〉則入圍年度歌曲獎。

蔡健雅表示，因疫情困在家裡時，接觸紀錄片，看見冰川融化等大自然議題，又聽了古典音樂，萌生為地球寫歌的想法，「或許地球需要我們，可能任務太大，但我可以為地球寫歌」。

蔡健雅拿起木吉他，包攬譜曲、編曲、吉他和樂器彈奏，作詞邀請葛大為、周耀輝等人合作，並首次包辦編曲錄音工程，是疫情下催生的新模式音樂作品。

整張專輯旋律乾淨，蔡健雅說：「我一開始的確有點懷疑自己，但我知道這是自己想要的。過程慢慢也有很多人幫忙並伸出橄欖枝，讓我知道簡單也是一種力量。」

蔡健雅表示，曾想過自己哪個時候會被音樂市場淘汰，今年收到入圍肯定，「證明只要對音樂有熱忱也有想法，就可以被聽到，我還是覺得很感動」。

至於會不會繼續報名金曲獎？蔡健雅先反問：「為什麼不要報？」又接著說：「有些人會說可不可以不要再提名了，但對我來說只是有努力被聽到的證明。」她也認為獎項是個刺激，就算出發點不是因為獎項做音樂，但獎項能提醒她是不是疏忽什麼，又或是做對了什麼。
